About Clifton House

This unit provides 24 hours therapeutic care for 3 service users aged 16-31 who have Learning disabilities, mental health issues and challenging behaviours. We can provide care to 3 service users within this unit, and provide 1:1 Support due to the high risk behaviours these service users present.

This unit has an excellent reputation for managing high levels of behavioural issues presented by service users who present violence and aggressive behaviours. We have modified a number of service users behaviours to prevent them being returned tohospital due to the risk taking behaviours. We follow a person centred model of care and involvement from each service user in their daily care. This unit provides care for those service users who require and have in place DOLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards).

We offer education at our IDL Educational Day Centre ASDAN programme and our own accredited courses around life skill. We also have a qualified teacher at the centre and can also provide 1:1 tutoring programs at the unit where the service user is based and at our IDL Educational Day Centre.
